Helen Yu
CEO
Tigon Advisory Corp

Helen Yu, CEO of Tigon Advisory Corp, is a technology leader, author, speaker, and content creator who has built a strong presence at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, innovation, and business growth. Through her work across digital platforms, publishing, and thought leadership, she has created a community of professionals who look to her for practical perspectives on emerging technologies and the changing business landscape. Her journey reflects a clear belief that technology creates the greatest value when it is connected with people, purpose, and meaningful business outcomes.

CIO Global is pleased to spotlight Helen Yu in this edition, celebrating a notable contribution to leadership, innovation, and industry progress.

Helen brings this perspective to speaking engagements and panel moderation beyond her own channels, with experience at SAP Sapphire, Dell Technologies World and NetApp INSIGHT. In January, she spoke about leadership to an audience of 700 at Acumatica. At Fintech Meetup Europe in Lisbon, she moderated a panel on AI workflow value, ROI and human oversight. Her focus for executive audiences is practical: helping CEOs connect AI to business value and organisational growth, and helping CIOs navigate AI adoption, cybersecurity and human oversight. Her cybersecurity research work with Zoho includes the Identity Security Outlook 2026 report, which Zoho printed in a run of 300 copies and distributed at RSA.

As the founder and host of CXO Spice, Helen has developed a growing platform focused on important conversations around AI, cybersecurity, technology, and innovation. Her YouTube channel has more than 123,000 subscribers, giving her a significant platform to discuss the technologies shaping modern organisations. Through interviews, insights, and educational content, she brings complex technology topics into conversations that business leaders and professionals can understand and apply.

“The future belongs to leaders who can connect humans and intelligent technology.”

Her influence also extends strongly across LinkedIn. With more than 135,000 followers, Helen has established herself as a LinkedIn Top Community Voice on AI and achieved a top 1% reach on the platform in 2025. Her CXO Spice newsletter on LinkedIn has also grown to more than 60,000 subscribers.

Beyond LinkedIn, Helen has built a notable audience on X, where she has more than 58,000 followers. Across these platforms, she focuses on making emerging ideas easier to understand and showing why they matter to businesses, leaders, and professionals.

Helen is also an accomplished author. Her book Ascend Your Start-Up: Conquer the 5 Disconnects to Accelerate Your Growth reflects her understanding of the challenges that entrepreneurs and growing companies face. The book has received three book awards and achieved Wall Street Journal Best Seller and Amazon Best Seller recognition in three categories. Through the book, Helen explores the disconnects that can slow down business growth and provides perspectives designed to help leaders build stronger and more focused organisations.

Her work as an author continued in 2026 with the publication of The Human-Agent Orchestrator, which she co-authored. Released in May 2026, the book explores the evolving relationship between humans and AI agents at a time when artificial intelligence is moving from experimentation into practical business use. The book became an Amazon Best Seller, adding another achievement to Helen’s growing body of work around technology and business transformation.

“Innovation begins with understanding how technology can serve people.”

The subject of human and AI collaboration is especially relevant to Helen’s broader work. As AI becomes increasingly integrated into organisations, leaders are being asked to understand not only what the technology can do but also how people should work with it. Helen’s focus on the human side of technology highlights the importance of leadership, judgement, collaboration, and responsible adoption alongside technical capability.

Her thought leadership has also reached audiences beyond her own platforms. Through BBN Times, a UK-based publisher, her newsletter content is reposted weekly and receives more than 300,000 views each week. This wider reach demonstrates how her ideas continue to travel across professional communities and different digital channels.

What distinguishes Helen’s career is the combination of technology knowledge, communication, entrepreneurship, and community building. She has created multiple avenues through which people can learn about AI and other emerging technologies, from books and newsletters to videos, social media content, and conversations with industry leaders. Rather than treating technology as a subject limited to technical specialists, she presents it as an important part of business strategy, leadership, and everyday professional life.

“AI creates value when technology and human potential work together.”
