Tania Amar began her career in France after earning an MBA from the University of Paris-Dauphine. She entered the corporate world through a role in Corporate Communications at COGEMA, now known as AREVA, a leader in nuclear energy. This experience introduced her to the power of strategic storytelling in shaping public perception, particularly in a high-stakes industry. In 1997, she moved to Israel and became immersed in the country’s fast-paced tech ecosystem, recognized internationally as the “Startup Nation.” We at CIO Global, are proud to introduce Tania Amar as one of the Promising Women in Business, 2025.
Over the years, she took on senior marketing executive roles at some of the most influential NASDAQ-listed technology firms, including NICE, Magic Software, and ClickSoftware, which was acquired by Salesforce at $3.5B. She also worked as the Vice President of Marketing at JVP, a leading venture capital firm managing $4 billion in assets. These experiences provided her with extensive knowledge in thought leadership, go-to-market strategies, and the dynamics of high-growth business environments.
“Vision, versatility, velocity, and vitality are the keys to lasting success.”
Her time in venture capital led her to discover a true passion—helping visionary founders craft compelling narratives to drive business success. In 2017, she founded CXP Consulting, a firm dedicated to equipping tech leaders with breakthrough value propositions and strategic storytelling to achieve tangible results. To define this unique approach, she introduced the concept of StorySelling—a combination of storytelling and sales-driven messaging that helps translate complex technologies into market success. Transitioning from the security of a corporate position to the uncertainties of independent consulting was a significant challenge. It required a complete shift in mindset, as she had to build her business from scratch, adjust to a new professional identity, and handle the unpredictability of entrepreneurship. However, she realized that even in her corporate roles, she had always embodied an entrepreneurial mindset, which helped her navigate the transition with excitement and resilience.
One of the main challenges was balancing business development with executing projects. Finding new consulting opportunities while maintaining high-quality work required strategic branding and networking. By focusing on building a strong reputation, she was able to attract clients rather than constantly having to seek them out Staying ahead in the rapidly evolving tech landscape was another major challenge. Clients rely on her insights to remain competitive, which means she must continuously learn and adapt. The emergence of artificial intelligence, for example, has transformed various industries, including her own. Embracing AI and integrating it into her work has allowed her to enhance results while leveraging human strengths such as creativity, critical thinking, and relationship-building. By staying agile and embracing technological advancements, she ensures that her consulting firm remains pivotal and effective.
Through her experiences, she developed the 4Vs Leadership Model—Vision, Versatility, Velocity, and Vitality—which she considers essential for entrepreneurial success. Vision serves as a guiding force, providing clarity, direction, and inspiration. Versatility is crucial in a constantly changing world, requiring continuous learning and adaptation. She personally embodies this by challenging herself with new knowledge, whether through advanced business courses at Harvard or learning new languages. Velocity is critical in the fast-moving tech industry, where the ability to make quick and informed decisions determines success. Lastly, vitality is the foundation that sustains long-term performance, requiring both mental and physical well-being. She emphasizes the importance of surrounding herself with positive and energetic individuals, as their enthusiasm fuels her own drive.

“Entrepreneurship is rarely a straight path—stay agile and enjoy the ride.”
As an entrepreneur, maintaining a balance between work and personal life is a continuous process. Her professional and personal lives are deeply connected, and she finds inspiration through her hobbies. Music, in particular, plays a significant role in her creativity, and she actively participates as a singer in vocal ensembles. Engaging in artistic pursuits allows her to approach her work with fresh perspectives and innovative ideas. She believes that mindset and attitude are just as important as skills, experience, and hard work. A positive, energetic, and optimistic approach can open doors and attract opportunities. For women aspiring to start their own business, she advises trusting their intuition and assessing whether their chosen field excites and motivates them. Self-awareness is a valuable tool in understanding personal strengths, work preferences, and leadership styles. Early career experiences provide insights into how one handles challenges, feedback, and collaboration, all of which contribute to a successful entrepreneurial journey.
She also emphasizes the importance of mentorship. Gaining knowledge from experienced professionals and asking insightful questions can provide invaluable guidance. Entrepreneurship is rarely a straightforward path, and she encourages embracing the journey with an open and flexible mindset. Challenges, pivots, and unexpected turns are part of the process, offering lessons that contribute to growth and success. Looking ahead, her goal is to continue helping companies achieve business success while making a positive impact on the world. She envisions expanding her consulting firm globally, reaching new markets and industries without compromising quality or the personalized approach that defines her work. Beyond business growth, she is committed to leaving a lasting legacy by sharing her expertise and inspiring others. Giving back is an integral part of her values, and she actively mentors entrepreneurs and mid-sized businesses to support their growth and development.
Her journey highlights the importance of adaptability, innovation, and strategic thinking. By continuously evolving, embracing change, and staying true to her vision, she has built a successful business that empowers tech leaders to achieve their goals. Through her consulting firm, she continues to shape the narratives of the technology industry, proving that a well-crafted, value-driven story can drive remarkable success.
